Film Location
Located in Morris County, a beautiful region of Northern New Jersey, Alstede Farms offers a great location for TV shows, documentaries, news broadcasting, commercials, and films. Since we are a working farm, we also have farm props, farmers and farm equipment available. While we boast having a scenic country setting, we are near New York City – about one hour by car. We are experienced and have been chosen as a location for many popular TV shows, motion pictures, commercials, and magazines. Inquire about our food catering packages for your shoot. Photography Policy
Alstede Farms welcomes all photographers to our farm to take pictures and to enjoy all the Farm must offer. Please be advised that should any photographer voluntarily post a photo on a public site such as our Facebook Page, we will interpret this as permission to use that photo in future publicity.
All guests should also be aware that Alstede Farms staff take pictures of the farm and guests daily for use in our publicity and that your presence on the farm is an agreement to use, not sell, your likeness. Please note that School Group Tours will not be photographed without prior approval and photo releases.
Professional Photographers and Filmmakers
We are thrilled any time a professional filmmaker or photographer decides to use our farm! We’ve hosted news crews, movie makers, commercial filmmakers and more. There is a host of diverse ways you can utilize the farm and it is a lot of fun for us! Please call us prior to your visit so farm so that we can best fulfill and address your specific needs.
We had a visit from Food Network’s “Jersey Shore Kid” Gibson Borelli. He filmed a segment for his “Jersey Shore Kid” web series here at the farm with the help of our Farm Steward, Sam Walmer…Yay Sam!
